Hands-on work in a small space is the hardest combination to buy for. Everything happens on one surface, and there's nowhere to move the mess to. Rubberwood is a solid wood, and our tops are built butcher-block style from full-length pieces of wood, run side by side and sanded flat, then sealed so the finish holds up through a normal working day, in 32 by 20 or 40 by 24 inches.
The frame carries 330.7 lbs, the same as the full-size Dual, with three-stage legs and wide feet holding it steady at the full 49.2 inches. A monitor arm needs a solid edge to mount to. Tighten one onto this top and it stays where you put it.
Our grommet desktops include 2 grommet covers, so cables leave through the top rather than looping around a surface already short on room. Dual motors move at 1.6 inches per second, less than ten seconds between sitting and standing. Four saved heights are enough for two people's sitting and standing positions, and it comes back to any of them in one press. Four finishes, and a 10-year warranty on the entire frame, the one under every small standing desk in the range.

These 80mm channels are strategically positioned just inside the legs of your Desky Minimal Monitor Stand, and purposely designed so your cables drop directly into the Desky Mini Cable and Power Tray located beneath the desktop. This precision alignment ensures a smooth vertical drop for all your monitor and peripheral wires, keeping them tucked away and out of sight to eliminate visual clutter.
To maintain a seamless minimalist look, we provide black grommets for dark desktops and white grommets for lighter desktop finishes. The grommets feature a clever shutter to protect your cables from fraying and can be closed entirely when not in use to keep your workspace tidy. Desky uses sustainably sourced and manufactured rubberwood for their desk tops, which come from Vietnam. The rubberwood is sourced from trees that have reached the end of their latex production life cycle, reducing waste and environmental impact. The wood is then kiln-dried, glued together, sanded, finished, and treated for durability. The resulting desk tops are eco-friendly, strong, long-lasting and come in a variety of different colours.
Strong Finger Joint: Our rubberwood desktops are constructed with planed planks from the rubberwood tree that has been precision cut with finger joins on the inside of the planks to keep the top of the desk looking clean and natural. The joint is composed of wedges that mesh together to form a strong bond between adjoining planks.
Protective Clear Coat: The desktop is then stained to the finish of your choice and finally coated with a single-pack clear coat to protect the natural or stained look of the wood. The coating is spill resistant and aids in increasing the longevity of the desk by sealing and protecting the raw planks of wood, bringing them to light with increased saturation of the wood's natural appearance.
Threaded Inserts: Desky Desktop Inserts are designed and placed on our desktops with precision engineering to ensure optimal longevity. These machined threads enable precise tabletop installation on the frame, as well as the ability to build and disassemble your Desky as needed. This will ensure that your tabletop lasts a lifetime.
Butcher Block Solid Wood Construction: Our rubberwood desktops are built using the durable and stable butcher block technique. This method ensures maximum strength and a beautiful, natural wood aesthetic for your rubberwood butcher block desktop.
Desky’s wooden desktop range contains no Formaldehyde resin in the manufacturing process. Meaning your home and office will be safe from any harmful chemicals.

Definitely not! The Desky Dual Mini may be smaller in size but it uses the same motors and control system as our larger Desky Dual sit stand desk range so there is no compromise in quality or function. The only restriction is that the desk frame does not suit all of our under-desk cable management options. For this desk we recommend the Desky Mini Cable Tray.
Our solid wood desktops are built to last and will actually harden over time. While they can get scratches and dents, many people feel this simply adds character. As the wood ages naturally, its colour may also shift, becoming slightly lighter or darker. Each desktop is finished with a smooth, durable polyurethane coating for protection.
Our Rubberwood desktops are made from 100% solid wood and are built to last. The desktop is thicker than most desktops at 25mm and there are metal support braces within the desktop itself to help prevent sagging under load and at longer lengths.
No, unfortunately our Rubberwood desktop range is only available in select sizes and a rectangular shape, but we do have specific desktops available with Ergo Edges in a number of colours and finishes.

For cable management, you can use the Mini Cable and Power Tray with the Dual Mini Desk, as it is fully compatible. However, due to space limitations, we do not recommend using CPU mounts or drawers with the Dual Mini. We suggest reviewing the specifications of all accessories to ensure proper compatibility.
Yes, our desktops come with pre-drilled holes for easy assembly of the desktop to your desk frame. You do not need a power drill or tools, simply just a Phillips head screwdriver and the included hex keys.
Yes, we offer the same desk frames that we use for all of our height adjustable sit stand desks as frames only so you can use an existing desktop. This is a great option for existing office spaces that have matching cabinetry and furniture. You can view our Sit Stand Desk Frames here.
Assembly will take as little as 30 minutes and each desktop we supply comes with pre-drilled holes to make assembly as quick as possible without needing any power tools. You can do this by yourself but we do recommend having two people to turn the desk over when finished assembly.

I looked at a lot of standing desks before choosing the Desky Dual Mini Rubberwood Standing Desk (32x20), and I am thrilled with my decision. It is the perfect size for my space, looks beautiful, and feels extremely well made.
I especially love the color and the quality of the rubberwood top. It feels durable and substantial without being as heavy as many other solid-wood options. The desk was also surprisingly easy to put together.
In daily use, it has been excellent. The desk is very stable at every height, and the adjustment is quiet and smooth. I added the monitor arms, six-section power supply, casters, and footrest. The power supply has been a huge help with keeping the plugs and cords organized, while the casters make it easy to move the desk when needed. As someone with short legs, I absolutely love the footrest—it makes the whole setup much more comfortable.
My only disappointment was that the monitor arms could not be mounted on the back of the desk when using the power-management system. I had to mount them on the side instead. It works, but I would have preferred them centered at the back.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this desk and the accessories I selected. The quality of the materials is what impressed me most, and the finished setup is attractive, functional, comfortable, and perfect for my space. It was definitely worth all the searching!

the keyboard train is a nice addition to my Desky dual mini sit stand desk, it leaves more space on the desk itself and I was able to fit it in just right by moving the height controller a little on the outside of the desk (I used only one of the 2 screws for it and it still holds very well).
