Our current softwood is available in Rustic Pine and Acacia. All sustainably sourced from Vietnam and features our market leading thick options. At 25mm in thickness, your desktop can handle all the accessories you need.
The Rustic Pine features a rustic distressed appearance, is handmade and crafted. Featuring a walnut stain for a rich colour appearance. The Acacia is one of our most popular soft, real wood desk tops with rich colours and unique grain.

Desky's softwood desk tops are made from sustainably sourced and manufactured wood slabs. Our Rustic Pine is sourced from America and our Acacia wood comes from Vietnam, both from responsibly managed forests. The wood is cut, sanded, and finished to create durable desk tops. Our commitment to sustainability ensures eco-friendly products that last.
Desky’s wooden desktop range contains no Formaldehyde resin in the manufacturing process. Meaning your home and office will be safe from any harmful chemicals.
Our desktops are air dried, coated with a single-pack lacquer and then air-cured before being packaged up. This process protects the beautiful natural finish of the wood, enhances its natural grains and tones and ensures there are no volatile organic compounds once finalised.
Desky promises that the highest quality materials and manufacturing procedures are met to ensure no harm to users young or old. All of our desktops meet Australian standards and cause no risk to any working environment.
Our clean and sustainable manufacturing procedures maintain the highest level of engineering and craftsmanship resulting in an odour-free clean work surface that won’t stink out your office with a new furniture smell.
Steel Reinforcements: Our Desky wooden desks have vertically inserted bars of reinforced steel beneath the tabletop, further strengthening our desks' already best-in-class strength, stability and thickness. This significant upgrade can also help to reduce wobbles and perhaps eliminate the possibility of warping. The quantity of reinforcements included on each tabletop varies by size, with more being added to longer table tops
Precision Slots: Desky is proactively avoiding even the tiniest risk of warpage with the help of precision cut slots, and our leading 25mm desktop thickness. The slots are precisely cut gaps using CNC technology that are embedded to the underside of table surfaces. These spacers offer the desk adequate flexibility and space to expand and contract organically without putting other portions of the table top under stress.
Threaded Inserts: Desky Desktop Inserts are designed and placed on our desktops with precision engineering to ensure optimal longevity. These machined threads enable precise tabletop installation on the frame, as well as the ability to build and disassemble your Desky as needed. This will ensure that your tabletop lasts a lifetime.
FSC certified: Desky supports responsible forest management and is committed to producing quality products from quality materials that are backed by globally recognised certifications. We source our raw materials from suppliers who have been independently verified as compliant with a chain of custody standards, meaning that materials are produced using legally-sourced wood fibres from certified sustainably managed forests.

All our Desky wood desk tops have pre drilled inserts which match up to our Desky Dual frame, while it may be possible to retrofit our table tops onto your existing furniture we cannot guarantee a fit. Please check the specifications or reach our to helpful team.
Solid wood desktops are durable and will even harden over time. While they are still susceptible to scratches and dents, this isn't always a bad thing, as it can add character to the desktop as it ages. As a natural material, the wood will also get slightly lighter or darker over time.
Our Softwood desktops are coated with a durable polyurethane finish, giving them a smooth surface. The exception is our Rustic finish Softwood desktops, which have a nitrocellulose stain finish that keeps the natural, distressed surface of the wood.
Our desktops are made from 100% solid wood and are built to last. The desktop is thicker than most desktops at 25mm and there are metal support braces within the desktop itself to help prevent sagging under load and at longer lengths.
These desktops come with predrilled holes for our dual motor frame. However if you had an electric drill you can secure any frame to this desktop.
My Acacia Softwood desk has been an awesome upgrade to my home office workspace.
The finish and quality of the desk is exceptional. It is consistently smooth on both sides and void of any imperfections. Additional bracing included on Desky's softwood desks make the desktop noticeably sturdier, too! The natural wood grain is also very beautiful.
This desktop was a replacement. I had some QC issues with a previous Desky desktop, but this was resolved by Desky in just a few days. The customer service that Desky provides is industry leading. Trust that you will be in safe hands if anything goes wrong.

The product itself is very beautiful, I only needed the table top for my standing desk legs and frame. The first tabletop came in with a large crack but with the amazing customer service, I was able to get a replacement easily. I will recommend Desky for any one with a budget who wants a standing desk. Their hardwood finish is absolutely beautiful and withstands my two 27" monitor weights and heavier metal accessories like a mechanical keyboard.
I have been interested in a desky for over a year, I’m so pleased I invested in this desk! The quality and feel of the desk top is amazing, all the electronics are so sturdy and sound and easy to use. I’m really happy with it and we will be replacing my fiancé’s desk soon with a desky too! We love them. Also, I have to say I accidentally ordered the wrong size when ordering and the team were really quick and helpful to assist me in correcting my error, it was so painless. Their customer service is really good.
