Got my laptop off my desk, works as intended.
I original bought a DESKY dual-motor desk and power management system. I have been very impressed with the quality, service, and overall experience with DESKY and their products (I am not a paid sponsor). As my needs expanded, I bought a separate monitor and thus needed monitor arms. I say "arms" because they have an accessory for holding my laptop. All DESKY products will be listed below. They are all great and exactly as advertised. I will be purchasing from DESKY in the future and highly recommend their products. I currently have my sights on a chair.

I have so much more space on my desk and the cables no longer get in the way of my mouse. The Desky feels sturdy and has a really nice finish on it. It was reasonably priced and does what it says on the tin. It took a little while to assemble and required more work than I was expecting, but we got it done.
I'm using this with an ASUS Flow X16 folded flat so I can use the keyboard and stylus + touchscreen at the same time. It was one of the only options I found that has feet on the bottom to hold the base in a vertical position and the little grabby arms on the side that clamp the laptop. It's nice that the clamps are adjustable too, so you can move them up or down to avoid covering specific ports. The piece of metal itself has a bit of wobble to it, since there are two bends between the main plate where the laptop sits, and the 2nd set of vesa holes that allow for the vertical orientation. A better design would make that fully stiff somehow, but only $20 and free shipping.
