Our Rustic Pine is sourced from America and our Acacia butcher block comes from Vietnam, both from responsibly managed forests. The wood is cut, sanded, and finished to create durable desk tops. Our commitment to sustainability ensures eco-friendly products that last.
Steel Reinforcements: Our Desky wooden desks have vertically inserted bars of reinforced steel beneath the tabletop, further strengthening our desks' already best-in-class strength, stability and thickness. This significant upgrade can also help to reduce wobbles and perhaps eliminate the possibility of warping. The quantity of reinforcements included on each tabletop varies by size, with more being added to longer table tops
Precision Slots: Desky is proactively avoiding even the tiniest risk of warpage with the help of precision cut slots, and our leading 1" desktop thickness. The slots are precisely cut gaps using CNC technology that are embedded to the underside of table surfaces. These spacers offer the desk adequate flexibility and space to expand and contract organically without putting other portions of the table top under stress.

Yes! Our Desky Softwood L-Shape Sit-Stand Desks offer the flexibility to switch the return from left to right. This adaptable feature is available with the desktop materials: Eco Melamine, Bamboo, Softwood, Rubberwood, and Hardwood.
Our L-shaped desk is not only incredibly stable but also built to handle more weight. With a 440.9lbs capacity, it can support significantly heavier loads than the Dual, which is rated for 308.6lbs.
Solid wood desktops are durable and will even harden over time. While they are still susceptible to scratches and dents, this isn't always a bad thing, as it can add character to the desktop as it ages. As a natural material, the wood will also get slightly lighter or darker over time.
Our Softwood desktops are coated with a durable polyurethane finish, giving them a smooth surface. The exception is our Rustic finish Softwood desktops, which have a nitrocellulose stain finish that keeps the natural, distressed surface of the wood.

For ease of shipping and assembly, all L-shaped desktops come in two pieces, the main desk (1) and the return (2). We include all the necessary hardware to join and align both pieces seamlessly.
Yes, our desktops come with pre-drilled holes for easy assembly of the desktop to your desk frame. You do not need a power drill or tools, simply just a Phillips head screwdriver and the included hex keys.
Yes, we offer the same desk frames that we use for all of our height adjustable sit stand desks as frames only so you can use an existing desktop. This is a great option for existing office spaces that have matching cabinetry and furniture. You can view our Sit Stand Desk Frames here.
Assembly takes about 45 minutes. Our desktops come with threaded inserts for a fast and secure connection, no power tools needed. We recommend two people for flipping the desk upright after assembly.
